3-potassium butyrate is a growth-regulating agent for root growth, which is a potassium salt of indole butyric acid. It has stronger stability than indole butyric acid and is completely water-soluble. It promotes rooting of cuttings, promotes crop growth and increases Yield, promote the role of seed germination. Plants that are difficult to root (pine, cypress, cedar, rhododendron, camellia, western ivy, Milan, etc.) use a mixed rooting agent during cutting to obtain a satisfactory rooting effect. For example, when larch is mixed with indolebutyric acid, naphthaleneacetic acid or 2,4-D (10+10+10 mg/kg), the rooting rate of the cuttings is significantly increased.
